IHM Chennai - Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition

The Institute of Hotel Management Chennai, established in 1963, is supported by the Government of Tamil Nadu and India. IHM Chennai holds ISO certification and is accredited by IAO, HLACT, and AACBE. As an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Tourism, it is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and IGNOU. In the GHRDC Hotel Management Institute Survey 2022, IHM Chennai was ranked first for participation among government institutions in the State of Tamil Nadu. The college offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses, including B.Sc., M.Sc., and UG Diploma, through its five departments, covering areas such as Hospitality Administration and Hotel Administration. Additionally, the college has established a Memorandum of Understanding with the Catering School Lycee Nicolas Appert in France.
