Founded in 1968, Awadhesh Pratap Singh University (APSU), Rewa serves as a teaching and affiliating institution. It is recognized by the UGC and sanctioned by the AICTE. APSU is affiliated with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU). The University boasts 150 affiliated colleges across Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Shahdol, Umariya, and Singrauli.
