Chandigarh University (CU)

Chandigarh University (CU) is a private institution that holds accreditation from the NBA and has received an A+ Grade from the NAAC. The university is recognized by UGC, AICTE, BCI, NCHMCT, PCI, COA, NCTE, AIU, and CSI. CU Chandigarh is affiliated with organizations such as ICAR, AUAP, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, IUCEE, and ACS. This year, CU has made a remarkable leap of 29 positions, now ranking 120 among Asian institutions, which places it in the esteemed top 2% of higher educational institutions (HEIs) across the continent. It is also the sole university in Punjab and the surrounding region to be accredited by NBA for its programs in Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and MBA. Additionally, the university offers ABET-accredited programs, making it the first private university in India with the highest number of engineering programs accredited by ABET.

The university has earned an ASSOCHAM GEM 4 rating for its Green Building and Sustainability Certification.
