Arka Jain University, located in Jamshedpur, is a private institution that was founded in 2017 and is recognized by the UGC. The university holds affiliations and recognition from AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU, and ASCO. Notably, it has achieved the distinction of being the first NAAC Grade “A” accredited private state university in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. With over 5000 students and more than 175 faculty members, Arka Jain University comprises seven distinct schools that offer over 30 courses across various fields, including Allied Health Sciences, Engineering, Technology, Management, and Commerce, at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.

In collaboration with Emversity, a leading provider of healthcare education, Arka Jain University offers three undergraduate programs in the School of Health Sciences (Paramedical) focusing on Medical Lab Technology, Anaesthesia & OTT, and Emergency Medical Technology, each with 60 seats available. The flagship course offered by the university is the BSc. To be eligible for admission to these programs, candidates must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% in Science. Emversity has developed these programs in consultation with prominent doctors, practitioners, healthcare providers, and hospitals.

Students enrolled in Emversity will have the opportunity to complete a mandatory one-year internship at hospitals and diagnostic centers, along with receiving 100% placement support for employment in top hospitals in India and internationally. This four-year Honors Degree Program also facilitates further studies in the US, Canada, Europe, and other countries. The university offers a BSc (Hons) program lasting four years in subjects such as Anaesthesia and Operation Theater Technology (A&OTT), Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Technology, and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
