Berhampur University admissions are a multi-step procedure. It begins with the release of the application form. Admission to most of the university PG programmes is entrance-based. In addition, it is necessary that candidates applying for admission meet the respective course eligibility criteria. More details around each of the admission stage are provided below:

STEP 1: Eligible students can apply for the desired course by completing the application process. Berhampur University admission form can be downloaded from the university's official website or a printout can be taken from the brochure as well. Aspirants should fill in all the details carefully. The application fee payment can further be done online through the SAMS portal.

STEP 2: Admission to the UG courses is mostly merit-based. For PG courses, admission is through the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET). For MBA, MCA and MPharm, OJEE score is accepted. Additionally, Berhampur University admission to the MSc Biotechnology course is based on a GAT-B score. Candidates who are shortlisted are informed through an intimation letter.

STEP 3: Selected students are required to appear for the Berhampur University counselling. On completion of counselling, seats are allotted to the candidates after verification.
