Central University of Jammu

The Central University of Jammu, commonly referred to as CU JAMMU, was founded in 2011 under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Act No 25 of 2009 in conjunction with the Central Universities Act, 2009). This central university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has received a “B++” Grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The University has established MoUs with various universities and institutes, including the Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management (Gwalior), Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (Rajouri), Chamber & Commerce Industry (CCI), Indian Association of Tour Operators, Department of Tourism Studies (Central University of Kashmir), Institute of Chinese Studies (New Delhi), Aashray Techno Social Business Incubator (Ahmedabad), among others.
