About Central University of Kashmir

The Central University of Kashmir was founded in March 2009 in Srinagar, Kashmir. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded it a “B++” Grade.

At present, the University provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs across various fields, including Science, Technology, Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Computer Applications, and more. These programs are offered through nine constituent schools. The University employs a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for assessing all undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The University campus is well-equipped with essential facilities, including laboratories, smart classrooms, a seminar hall, an auditorium, a library, hostels, transportation, and more. A distinctive feature of this University is its scholarship-based coaching for the civil services exam.
