IHM Ranchi - Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition

The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Ranchi, was established in 2019 by the Government of Jharkhand. It stands as the first and only Hotel Management institute in Jharkhand, providing a variety of courses in Hotel Management through its four departments: Food Production, Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B Service. These courses are offered in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism (Government of India) and the Department of Tourism (Government of Jharkhand). The institute is affiliated with the NCHMCT.

IHM Ranchi spans 10 acres of land and is situated on the outskirts of Ranchi. To keep pace with the rapidly changing hospitality industry, it features four modern kitchens, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, a confectionery & larder, a contemporary bakery, two well-equipped food & beverage labs (restaurant) with bar and banqueting facilities, updated computer and language labs, a dedicated housekeeping and laundry lab, an auditorium, conference halls, front office labs with separate back office training, and a state-of-the-art library. The institute's goal is to cultivate passionate graduates with the support of its highly qualified faculty members. Additionally, it provides hostel accommodations for both students (boys & girls) and faculty/staff members.
