The International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) is an initiative of Eduhub Education Pvt. Ltd. Founded by Mr. Nilesh M. Kulkarni, a former Indian cricketer and sports entrepreneur, along with Ms. Rasika Kulkarni, an event management expert, IISM is situated in Mumbai (Maharashtra), the sports management hub of India. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Sports Management, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management (BSM), a Master’s Degree in Sports Management (MSM), and a Post Graduate Programme in Sports Management. IISM provides BSM and MSM degrees in partnership with the University of Mumbai and the Garware Institute of Career Education & Development (GICED). Admission to all courses at IISM Mumbai is based on entrance exams, with selection determined by valid scores from the SMAT/SSAT entrance exam, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round.
The PGPSM programs at IISM are autonomous and crafted by industry experts. IISM was awarded the ‘Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar’ for ‘Development For Sports’ by the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji, on National Sports Day 2020. IISM has formed partnerships with various organizations, including CII, FICCI, and the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to foster discussions and propose development strategies to government entities. Additionally, it has collaborated with Sportz Consult and Zeven to produce research-based knowledge reports, with Victoria University to launch research projects, and with Liverpool FC for fan engagement and promotional activities.
