International Management Institute

The International Management Institute Kolkata, commonly referred to as IMI Kolkata, was founded in 2010. It is a private institution located in Kolkata, West Bengal, established by the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. IMI Calcutta is a member of AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD Global). It has received approval from the AICTE and is accredited by several organizations, including NAAC, the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). In 2024, the NIRF ranked IMI Calcutta 56th in the ‘Management’ category.

The International Management Institute Kolkata offers a full-time PGDM program as its flagship offering. Additionally, the institute provides a Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM) at the PhD level and various certificate programs across different specializations. Admissions for the IMI Kolkata PGDM are determined by scores from several entrance exams, including CAT, XAT, and CMAT, among others. The institute also provides excellent placement support for its students. During the IMI Kolkata placements in 2024, the highest and average salary packages were INR 20.38 LPA and INR 12.02 LPA, respectively. The IMI Kolkata cutoff is published annually for the PGDM program based on various entrance exam scores.
