Founded in 1962, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (commonly referred to as JNMC AMU) is one of the leading government medical colleges situated in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The college is accredited by the NMC and was ranked 15th by the NIRF in 2021. JNMC serves as a constituent unit of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). It provides education in the fields of medicine and research, rigorously training its students to prepare them for various professional, scientific, and clinical challenges. The institution comprises 26 departments and three medical centers. The faculty at the college includes 240 qualified and experienced educators with exceptional backgrounds in education and research from esteemed medical institutions both nationally and internationally.
