Established in 1957, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) is one of the pioneering self-financing engineering colleges in India. In 2000, it became a constituent institute of the deemed university, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Currently, MIT Manipal provides BTech, MTech, and MCA programs across various specializations. It also offers students the opportunity to engage in full-time or part-time research.
