Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT), previously referred to as Malaviya Regional Engineering College (MREC) Jaipur, is a collaborative initiative between the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. It is named in honor of Madan Mohan Malaviya. The institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has received accreditation from the NBA.
In the NIRF 2024 Ranking, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur achieved a rank of 43 in the 'Engineering' category. MNIT has established MoUs with various international universities, including the University of Greenwich London, Stevens Institute of Technology, North Dakota University, University of Saskatchewan, Deakin University, Florida International University, University of Dundee, and Medine Education Mauritius, among others.
Founded in 1963, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT or NIT Jaipur) is a public technical university created by an act of the Parliament of India and is situated in Jaipur, India. MNIT provides a diverse range of programs in Engineering, Sciences, Management, Design, and Humanities. It offers eight four-year undergraduate programs leading to the Bachelor of Technology degree and a five-year undergraduate program culminating in the Bachelor of Architecture degree, with a total enrollment of over 5,000 students. Postgraduate degrees include Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Urban Planning.
