Founded in 1961, the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, commonly referred to as MNNIT Allahabad or NIT Allahabad, is a deemed university situated in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, it was known as Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC). Among the 31 NITs, it stands out as one of the most sought-after institutions. In the NIRF 2024 Rankings, it holds a rank of 60 in the 'Engineering' category.
