National Power Training Institute

The National Power Training Institute (NPTI), an ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified organization under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, serves as the National Apex body for Training and Human Resources Development in the Power Sector, with its Corporate Office located in Faridabad. NPTI has been dedicated to providing its services for over five decades.

NPTI is recognized as the world's premier integrated power training institute. It is the only institution of its kind globally, offering a broad geographical reach and a diverse range of academic and training programs in the Power Sector. The dedicated faculty at NPTI delivers exceptional training in the Power Sector, which is a critical component among various infrastructure sectors.

The Power Training Institute is acknowledged by AICTE and is affiliated with JC Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad. NPTI operates across India through its 11 institutes situated in different power zones, including Badarpur, Nangal, HLTC Bengaluru, PSTI Bengaluru, Neyveli, Alappuzha, Durgapur, Guwahati, Faridabad, Nagpur, and Shivpuri.

The National Power Training Institute offers full-time MBA (Power Management) courses at the postgraduate level. Admissions to NPTI are based on entrance exam scores. All applicants must possess valid CAT/ GMAT/ CUET/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT scorecards or have taken the NPTI Admission Test (NAT). The fees for PGDC and MBA programs at the National Power Training Institute range from approximately INR 2.7 lakh to INR 9.9 lakh. Additionally, NPTI supports financially and categorically disadvantaged students through various scholarships to promote equal opportunities.
