The National Institute of Technology Nagaland (commonly referred to as NIT Nagaland or NIT Dimapur) is one of the thirty-one NIT Colleges in India. It was founded in 2010 through an act of parliament. Situated in Dimapur, Nagaland, it holds the status of an Institute of National Importance. History of NIT Nagaland:
- Initially mentored by NIT Silchar for two years, NIT Nagaland is recognized as one of the ten newly approved NITs in 2009.
- For its first two years, NIT Nagaland operated from the campus of NIT Assam.
