National Law University, Odisha, commonly referred to as NLUO, is one of the recently established universities among the 23 NLUs. Founded in 2009 in Cuttack, Odisha, it is a state-level institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university has received an “A” Grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In 2020, it was ranked 6th and 14th for Law by various media outlets and the NIRF, respectively.
