Founded in 1996, NSHM is associated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (previously known as West Bengal University of Technology). It holds a 'B' Grade accreditation from NAAC and is recognized by the AICTE. NSHM operates two campuses in Kolkata and Durgapur.
