Rama Devi Women's University

Previously referred to as the Government Women's College, Rama Devi Women’s University is a state-level institution. Established in 1964, it gained university status in 2015, making it the first women's university in Odisha. Currently, the university has 49 affiliated women’s colleges. RDW University is recognized by the UGC and has also been granted CPE (College with Potential for Excellence) status by the UGC. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs across Science, Arts, and Commerce disciplines. Additionally, it features a placement cell that manages the recruitment process and provides pre-placement training for its students.
