Sarala Birla University

Sarala Birla University (SBU) was founded in 2017 as a self-financed private institution. It was established by Bharat Arogya and Gyan Mandir through the Sarla Birla University Act, which was enacted by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The university is recognized by the Government of Jharkhand and has received approval from the UGC. Sarala Birla University has entered into numerous MoUs both nationally and internationally, including partnerships with the University of California Berkeley, Virtual Labs, INSA Rennes, n+i France, University of Nantes, Microsoft, and E-Cell-Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, among others.

Through its various schools and colleges, Sarala Birla University provides 25 premier courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels in fields such as Engineering & Computer Sciences, Humanities & Linguistics, Commerce & Business Management, Legal Studies, Pharmacy, and Yoga & Naturopathy. The university also offers admission to a range of diploma and certification programs. Admission to these courses at Sarala Birla University is based on either merit or entrance examinations. The highest and average packages offered during the SBU placement drive in 2023 were INR 12 LPA and INR 4 LPA, respectively.
