ICFAI University Dehradun is a private institution that was founded in 2003 under the ICFAI University Act 2003 (Act No.16 of 2003) enacted by the Uttaranchal Legislative Assembly. It stands as one of the premier universities in Uttarakhand and is a constituent member of the ICFAI group. The university is recognized by the UGC and is affiliated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities in London, as well as the Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi.
