The Neotia University

The Neotia University (TNU) is a private institution situated in Kolkata, established in 2015. It was founded by the Ambuja Neotia Group under the West Bengal State Government Act of 2014 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). TNU Kolkata has also received approval from the AICTE, BCI, PCI, Indian Nursing Council, and the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS). Additionally, Neotia University is a member of AIU and holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification. It stands out as one of the private universities and is among the 9 institutions in India selected for 'Mission Innovation' by the Government of India for IC-MAP.

TNU offers a range of courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels across various fields including Arts, Maritime Studies, Sciences, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Science, Health Sciences, and Commerce. The university provides over 18 courses and also offers a 1-year PG Diploma in Psychological Counselling & Guidance. TNU awards merit-based and need-based scholarships to deserving students in different programs. Furthermore, the university has established more than 21 industry partnerships and mandates internship programs for all UG, PG, and PhD students at leading companies such as WABCO, Kuka Robotics, Amazon Development Centre India, NIMHANS, Apollo Gleneagles, Ambuja Neotia, and others.
