Medical Programs at AIIMS Delhi

Undergraduate Programs

• MBBS: A 5.5-year program, including a one-year compulsory internship.
• B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing: A four-year program focusing on nursing education and practice.
• B.Sc. (Hons.) in Medical Technology in Radiography: A three-year course specializing in radiographic techniques.
• Bachelor of Optometry: A four-year program dedicated to eye care and vision science.

MBBS Admission

• Entrance Exam: Admissions are based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Minimum age of 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year.
• Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

• Total of 50 seats.
• 7 seats reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC).
• 4 seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
• 5 seats reserved for Foreign Nationals nominated by the Government of India.
• Remaining 34 seats were filled by general candidates based on NEET-UG merit.

Postgraduate Admission

• Entrance Exam: Admissions to MD/MS/MDS courses are through the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET), held twice a year.

• Possession of an MBBS/BDS degree from a recognized university.
• Completion of a one-year compulsory internship.
• Minimum aggregate of 55% marks in MBBS/BDS professional examinations.

• Clinical Practice: Work as a medical practitioner in hospitals or private clinics.
• Higher Studies: Pursue postgraduate and super-specialty courses for advanced medical training.
