• Age Limit: The candidate should be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
• Entrance Exam: All applicants must qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Note: While NEET qualification is essential, AIIMS Patna does not conduct a separate entrance exam for MBBS admissions.

Admission Process

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) facilitates coordinated counseling for admissions. The AIQ (All India Quota) counseling process is open to candidates who fulfill the requirements and score highly enough on the NEET-UG.

Candidates who have been assigned a seat must come to AIIMS Patna with their original documentation for verification and to finish all requirements, including submitting an admission form, paying the fee, and proving their medical fitness.
