The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially released the counselling schedule for NEET PG 2026, marking the start of the admission process for MD and MS courses across the state. Candidates seeking admission through the Postgraduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC) process can now prepare for the upcoming registration window, which is set to open later this month.
According to the official notification published on the board's website, the registration and choice-filling process for the first round of counselling will commence on October 22, 2026. Prospective students are advised to monitor the official portal closely to ensure they complete their submissions within the stipulated timeframe, as the board has set specific deadlines for these critical administrative steps.
The registration window for Bihar PGMAC 2026 will remain active until October 28, 2026, with the portal scheduled to close at 10 PM on that day. Following the registration phase, the choice-filling process will continue until October 31, 2026, with the deadline for this activity set for 11:59 PM. It is essential for candidates to finalize their preferences before this cutoff to be considered for the seat allocation process.
Once the registration and choice-filling phases conclude, the board will publish the rank card on October 30, 2026. This will be followed by the announcement of the round one seat allotment results, which are scheduled to be released on November 4, 2026. Successful candidates will then be able to download their allotment orders starting from November 4, 2026, through November 9, 2026.
All eligible candidates must complete their registration and choice-filling procedures exclusively through the official BCECEB website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The board has emphasized that adherence to the provided schedule is mandatory for all applicants participating in the MD and MS admission process. Candidates are encouraged to review the official notification thoroughly to understand the documentation requirements and the specific steps involved in the online counselling process.
As the counselling cycle progresses, the BCECEB will provide further updates regarding subsequent rounds and any additional requirements for admission. Students are advised to keep their login credentials secure and regularly check the official website for any changes or further instructions regarding the seat allotment and reporting process.
