The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha is preparing to announce the results for the Class 10 supplementary examinations for 2026. These exams were conducted from July 2 to July 10, 2026, and students eagerly await the results, which are expected to be released shortly. Once available, students can access their results on the official websites, bseodisha.ac.in and orissaresults.nic.in, by entering their roll number and date of birth.
The supplementary examinations are designed for students who received an F grade, were absent, or faced malpractice allegations in one or two subjects during the annual Class 10 exams. However, students who failed in more than two subjects are not eligible for the supplementary exams and must retake the full annual examination the following year. According to BSE regulations, candidates are allowed up to three consecutive attempts to clear a failed subject through the supplementary route.
To successfully pass the supplementary exams, students must achieve a minimum score of 30 marks out of 100 in each subject, along with an overall aggregate of at least 33 percent across all subjects. The main Class 10 board results were previously announced on May 2, 2026, with an impressive pass percentage of 95.33 percent, reflecting the overall academic performance of the students.
Last year, the Class 10 supplementary results were declared on August 16, 2025. Based on this historical timeline, it is anticipated that the 2026 supplementary results will be released around the first week of August, although the board has yet to confirm a specific date for the announcement.
Students are advised to keep an eye on the official BSE Odisha website for the latest updates regarding the supplementary results. The online marksheet will be provisional, and students are reminded to collect their original certificates from their respective schools once the results are published.
