The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the schedule for document verification for eligible working professional Diploma candidates who participated in the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2026. This verification process is set to take place on August 13, 2026, starting at 11 AM. Candidates can access the official document verification notice and download the relevant PDF from the KEA's official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.

The document verification is a crucial step following the government's release of the KEA Diploma CET seat matrix, which outlines the admission process for newly qualified Professional Diploma candidates at Veerappa Nifty Engineering College in Yadgir. Only those candidates who fulfill the specified eligibility criteria will be permitted to participate in the verification process.

To qualify for the document verification, candidates must be Professional Diploma holders who have taken the DCET 2026 exam. Additionally, they are required to have a minimum of one year of service experience and must be employed within a 75-kilometer radius as stipulated by the authorities. It is important to note that candidates who have already completed the document verification process are not eligible to appear again.

Eligible candidates must arrive for the verification with all original documents in hand. The KEA has indicated that a comprehensive list of required documents can be found in the Diploma Information Booklet for 2026. Candidates are strongly advised to review the official KEA website and the information booklet thoroughly before attending the verification.

According to the guidelines set forth by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Professional Diploma candidates with at least one year of full-time work experience may be considered for admission into the second year or third semester of engineering programs through lateral entry. It is essential to remember that admissions will be granted strictly in accordance with the DCET seat matrix issued by the Karnataka government and other relevant directives.
