The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, has officially opened its application portal for the two-year full-time MBA programme for the 2027–2029 academic batch. Prospective students interested in pursuing a management degree at this prestigious institution are required to complete their registration through the official website at fms.edu.
The university has set a firm deadline for the submission of applications, requiring all interested candidates to complete their online forms by November 25, 2026. As part of the admission process, applicants must possess a valid score from the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 to be considered for the subsequent selection stages.
To be eligible for the MBA programme, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree obtained after twelve years of formal schooling. The degree must be at least three years in duration in any discipline. For unreserved category applicants, a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks or an equivalent CGPA is mandatory. The university provides specific relaxations for reserved categories: candidates from the SC and ST categories are required to have passing marks, while those in the PwBD, CW, and OBC categories must secure at least 45 per cent aggregate marks.
Students currently in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also permitted to apply, provided they can furnish proof of meeting the minimum percentage requirements by the university's specified date. The selection process for the personal interview round is determined by performance in CAT 2026. FMS Delhi utilizes a weighted scoring system for shortlisting, allocating 40 per cent weightage to Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), 30 per cent to Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and 30 per cent to Quantitative Ability.
The final selection list is compiled based on a composite score that incorporates multiple evaluation parameters. This includes academic performance in Class 10 and Class 12, where marks are awarded based on specific percentage slabs, with the highest marks allocated to those securing 75 per cent or above. Furthermore, the institution promotes gender diversity by awarding an additional 5 marks to female candidates during the final selection stage.
Applicants are strongly advised to review the official information bulletin available on the FMS website to ensure they fully understand all selection parameters and academic criteria before submitting their applications. With the CAT 2026 admit cards scheduled for release by IIM Indore on November 4, candidates should prepare accordingly to meet the November 25 application deadline.
