The Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, has officially commenced the physical reporting phase for the first round of NEET UG 2026 counselling. This critical stage of the admission process is mandatory for all candidates who have been successfully allotted seats in MBBS and BDS programs across various medical and dental colleges within the state.
Students who participated in the state quota counselling and received seat allocations are now required to complete the formal admission procedures. This involves a physical verification of credentials to confirm eligibility and secure their placement in their respective institutions. The process is specifically designed for those who have secured seats under the 85% state quota, ensuring that all documentation aligns with the requirements set forth by the state authorities.
To initiate the reporting process, candidates must first download their official seat allotment letter from the designated portal at uhsrugcounselling.com. Once the letter is obtained, students are required to appear in person before the Admission Committee at the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, located in Rohtak. This physical presence is a non-negotiable requirement for the verification of original documents.
The deadline for completing this physical reporting process is September 8, 2026. Education officials have advised candidates to complete their reporting well in advance of the final date to avoid potential technical glitches or unforeseen banking issues that could disrupt the admission process. It is important to note that failure to report to the designated venue by the specified deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of the allotted seat. Should a candidate fail to complete the process, the vacant seat will be forfeited and subsequently included in the seat matrix for the second round of counselling.
