The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has officially commenced the HBSE 10th Class October examinations for the 2026 academic session. The testing cycle began on October 1 with the Sanskrit paper and is scheduled to conclude on October 13. These examinations serve as a critical opportunity for students categorized under compartment, re-appear, partial improvement, full improvement, and additional subjects to either clear their papers or enhance their existing scores.
The examination process is applicable to both Academic and Haryana Open School students, who are following a unified date sheet. All papers are being conducted in the afternoon shift, with the majority of examinations scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM. While most core subjects conclude at 5:00 PM, certain optional papers have a shorter duration, ending at 4:30 PM.
The examination calendar features several core subjects scheduled throughout the first half of October. Following the opening paper, the Mathematics examination—covering both Standard and Basic levels—was held on October 3. Students are currently navigating the remainder of the schedule, which includes Social Science on October 5, English on October 6, Science on October 7, and Hindi on October 8. The final phase of the examination period includes Punjabi on October 9, followed by a variety of language and vocational subjects on October 12, and concluding with Home Science on October 13.
Candidates are reminded that the official date sheet is strictly enforced. For subjects such as Drawing, Agriculture, Computer Science, Animal Husbandry, Physical and Health Education, Music Hindustani, and Retail (NSQF), the examination concludes at 4:30 PM, providing a shorter window compared to the standard three-hour papers.
To ensure a smooth testing process, the Board of School Education Haryana has issued specific instructions for all candidates. It is mandatory for students to carry their official admit cards, which must feature a clear photograph, to the examination hall. The board maintains a strict policy prohibiting the use of electronic devices, including mobile phones and calculators, within the premises.
Special provisions have been made for differently-abled students, who are granted an additional 20 minutes for every hour of the examination duration. These students are also permitted to utilize the services of a writer if required. For any urgent queries or assistance during the examination period, the board has provided a dedicated support system. Students may reach out via WhatsApp at 8816840349 or contact the official helpline numbers ranging from 01664-244171 to 244176. Admit cards remain accessible for download through the official website at bseh.org.in.
