The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is set to begin the CA Intermediate examinations for the September 2026 session tomorrow. Thousands of registered candidates across the country are expected to appear for these professional assessments, which serve as a critical milestone in the journey toward becoming a chartered accountant.

With the examination process starting, the institute has reminded all participants to ensure they are fully prepared with the necessary documentation. The CA Intermediate September 2026 examination cycle is scheduled to take place over a period of nearly two weeks, with the papers being held between September 1 and September 12, 2026. Digital copies or images of the admit card on mobile devices will not be accepted as valid for entry. Acceptable documents include an Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, passport, or a valid driving license. Officials have emphasised that these documents are essential, and failure to produce them may result in a candidate being denied entry to the examination venue.

As candidates prepare for the upcoming sessions, they are advised to reach their designated examination centres well in advance of the 2 pm start time. This allows sufficient time for the verification of documents and the completion of necessary security checks at the entrance.
