The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is preparing to announce the official date sheet for the 2027 ICSE Class 10 board examinations. Students and stakeholders are advised to monitor the official website, cisce.org, where the complete schedule will be made available in a downloadable PDF format once released.
This upcoming announcement is highly anticipated as the board is currently planning a revision to the examination schedule. The primary objective of these adjustments is to provide schools and students with increased intervals between individual papers for both Class 10 and Class 12, allowing for better preparation time during the examination period.
Under the proposed revisions to the examination schedule, the start time for the ICSE board exams is set to shift from 11:00 am to 10:00 am. This adjustment is intended to streamline the testing process and manage the daily flow of examinations more effectively.
Following the new timing, students will receive their question papers at 10:00 am. A mandatory 15-minute reading period will be provided, allowing candidates to review the paper before they begin writing their responses at 10:15 am. Based on this updated structure, examinations with a two-hour duration will conclude at 12:15 pm, while papers requiring three hours to complete will finish at 1:15 pm.
The release of the official date sheet is a critical milestone for students, as it provides the necessary framework to structure their final revision strategies. While the board has not yet confirmed the exact date of publication, the schedule is expected to be released in the near future. For context, the previous year's date sheet was issued on November 13.
Once the document is live, students can access it directly through the official CISCE portal. It is recommended that candidates regularly check the website for the latest updates to ensure they have the most accurate information regarding their specific subject examinations. The board will provide the full timetable, which will serve as the definitive guide for the 2027 examination cycle.
