The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has officially opened the registration window for the ICSE and ISC examinations for the academic year 2027-28. Schools across the country are now required to confirm their lists of candidates for the upcoming 2027 exams, while also registering new students for the 2028 examinations. This initiative aims to streamline the examination process and ensure that all candidates are accounted for in a timely manner.Schools can complete the confirmation and registration processes through the CISCE careers portal. The timeline for confirming candidates for the ICSE and ISC 2027 exams is set from August 5 to September 15, 2026, without incurring any additional fees. However, schools that miss this initial deadline will have a late confirmation window from September 16 to September 30, 2026, which will involve a late fee.In addition to confirming existing candidates, schools are also permitted to register new candidates for the ICSE 2028 exam. This registration period runs from August 5 to October 31, 2026, without late fees. Should schools require additional time, a late registration window will be available from November 1 to November 15, 2026. For the ISC 2028 registration, the same timeline applies, allowing schools to register candidates until November 15 without incurring late fees.It is crucial for schools to adhere to the prescribed timelines set by the examination authority, as no forms will be accepted after the deadlines. Additionally, if schools need to make minor corrections to a candidate's details, they can submit a correction request through the careers portal, provided that the necessary documentation is submitted for verification. As the registration process unfolds, schools are encouraged to stay informed about the latest updates regarding examination results, dates, admit cards, and schedules. This proactive approach will help ensure a smooth examination experience for both students and educational institutions as they prepare for the upcoming academic year.
