CAT 2026 Announcement Posted on IIM CAT Site; Registration Opens on August 3

IIM Indore has officially released the notification for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026, marking the commencement of the examination process. The announcement was made on July 25, with comprehensive details now available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The exam advertisement has also been disseminated through various newspapers, ensuring that prospective candidates are well-informed about the upcoming test.

Starting at 10 AM on August 3, candidates will be able to register for the CAT 2026 online. The registration window will remain open until September 15, providing ample time for applicants to complete their submissions. The application fee is set at INR 2700 for candidates from unreserved categories, while those from reserved categories will pay a reduced fee of INR 1350.

Once the registration period concludes, IIM Indore will release the CAT 2026 admit cards on November 4. Candidates will have the opportunity to download their admit cards until November 29, which will include essential information such as their designated exam slot. The CAT 2026 will be conducted on November 29 across 170 test cities, with the examination divided into three slots throughout the day.

The CAT is a crucial assessment for admission into 22 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and is also accepted by approximately 1,600 business schools across India for their MBA programs.
