The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, in collaboration with the Government of Chhattisgarh, has introduced a two-year MBA program in Public Policy and Governance. This initiative is part of the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF), aiming to develop future leaders in public policy by combining academic excellence with practical governance experience.Program HighlightsFull Sponsorship: The Chhattisgarh government will cover the entire tuition fee for all enrolled students.Monthly Stipend: Each student will receive a stipend of Rs 50,000 per month to support academic pursuits, including boarding and lodging during sessions at IIM Raipur.Limited Seats: The program will admit 36 students, ensuring focused attention and quality education.Eligibility CriteriaPlace of residence: Applicants must be residents of Chhattisgarh.Educational Qualification: A graduation degree with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved categories) or an equivalent CGPA.CAT Score: A valid CAT score from the years 2022, 2023, or 2024.Age Limit: Candidates should not be older than 35 years as of the application deadline.Admission ProcessThe selection process includes shortlisting based on CAT scores, followed by group discussions and/or personal interviews. A caution deposit of Rs 1,00,000 is required upon admission confirmation.The program provides a combination of classroom instruction at IIM Raipur and hands-on experience gained via assignments in different government agencies and local governments.
