IISER 2026 Second Round of Seat Allocation Scheduled for August 1; Instructions for Downloading and SAF Information Available

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) is set to release the Round 2 seat allotment results for 2026 at 5 PM on August 1. Candidates who have registered for the IISER Counselling 2026 can access their allotment letters by logging into the official website, iiseradmission.in, using their User ID and password. This crucial step is part of the admission process for students seeking to secure a place in the prestigious institute.

To confirm their admission, candidates who receive a seat offer must pay the seat acceptance fee (SAF) by August 5. The allotment of seats is determined by several factors, including the candidate's IAT rank, the availability of seats, their preferences for IISER institutions, and their respective categories. It is essential for candidates to complete all required counselling formalities within the stipulated deadlines to ensure their admission.

The IISER Round 2 seat allotment results will only be available to those candidates who have submitted their counselling registration forms. Upon receiving an admission offer, candidates will have the option to either "Accept & Float" or "Accept & Freeze" their seats. Those who choose the "Accept & Float" option will still be eligible to participate in the Round 3 counselling process, which is scheduled to commence on August 10.
