IIT Bombay Introduces Online Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has launched an online Postgraduate Diploma (ePGD) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) to enhance the technical skills of professionals and graduates. Admissions are open for the program, which begins in June 2025.

The ePGD includes six courses covering key areas such as Advanced Programming, Computing Systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML).

The ePGD program will culminate in an on-campus graduation ceremony, where successful candidates will receive alumni status.

Who Can Apply for IIT Bombay's PG Diploma in CSE?

Applicants must hold a BE, BTech, or BS (4-year degree) in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates from other engineering disciplines with equivalent qualifications may also be considered, subject to additional eligibility criteria.

IIT Bombay has already introduced three ePGD programmes, all of these have been well-received by learners nationwide. The newly launched ePGD in CSE aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements, equipping professionals with relevant skills for the evolving tech landscape.
