Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has commenced their 28th edition of Techfest. This year’s festival theme, Sustainnovative Sentience, will bring together a variety of events, exhibitions, lectures, and competitions, inspiring attendees from around the world. IIT Bombay’s Techfest began on December 17 and will run until December 19. The first day featured an inaugural ceremony, a lecture by Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airport Holdings Limited, thrilling rounds of international Robowars, the Unitree G1 Humanoid Robot Exhibition, the Techfest Gamers League, and captivating cultural performances. Highlights of International Robowars The International Robowars competition promises electrifying battles between high-tech robots. Qualifiers and finals for bots weighing 8 kg, 15 kg, 30 kg, and 60 kg will demonstrate cutting-edge engineering and tactical combat. Day Two Activities Day two will kick off with a lecture by Dr. Velumani Arokiaswamy, the creator of Thyrocare, followed by the Unitree G1 Humanoid Robot Exhibition. The day will also include the Robowars Finals, the Techfest Gamers League, and the ever-popular Technoholix. Grand Finale on the Final Day The concluding day of the festival will feature a lecture by A. Rajarajan and the grand finales of competitions like Blixathon, Market Buzz, and Qualcomm VisionX. Attendees can also enjoy international exhibitions, tech talks, summits, the Techfest Gamers League, a dazzling Drone Show, and another round of Technoholix, ensuring a memorable end to the event.
