IIT Hyderabad Launches ANUGYAN Initiative for Careers in Nuclear Technology

IIT Hyderabad has officially launched ANUGYAN, a comprehensive three-month residential course aimed at equipping engineers and professionals for the burgeoning nuclear energy sector. This initiative, known as the Nuclear Technology Orientation Programme (NTOP), is a collaborative effort between IIT Hyderabad and Crimson Energy Experts Private Limited (CEEPL). The program is designed to blend academic rigor with practical training, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for careers in civil nuclear energy.

The ANUGYAN program offers a unique curriculum that encompasses a wide range of essential topics in nuclear engineering. Participants will engage in classroom learning and gain hands-on experience through training provided by seasoned professionals from Crimson Energy Experts. Key subjects covered in the course include Reactor Physics, Thermal Hydraulics, Radiation Safety, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), Engineering Design, Quality Assurance, AERB Regulatory Compliance, and Simulator-Based Training.

This program is open to a diverse group of individuals, including engineering graduates, working professionals, executives from public sector undertakings (PSUs), engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, and industrial equipment manufacturers. By targeting a broad audience, ANUGYAN aims to foster a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of the nuclear energy industry.

Upon successful completion of the ANUGYAN course, participants will be awarded a joint certificate from both IIT Hyderabad and Crimson Energy Experts Pvt. Ltd.
