The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has announced the launch of a new Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management and Technology program for the academic session of 2026. This innovative undergraduate course aims to prepare students for an increasingly AI-driven economy by integrating technology, management, and multidisciplinary learning. Notably, the program does not require students to submit Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) scores, making it accessible to applicants from all academic backgrounds.The curriculum of the BS in Management and Technology is designed in alignment with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020. It allows students to merge their personal academic interests with essential subjects in management and technology. This interdisciplinary approach is intended to equip graduates with the necessary skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market influenced by advancements in artificial intelligence.Eligibility criteria for the program stipulate that applicants must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the requirement is set at 50%. Importantly, students who are awaiting their Class 12 results are also encouraged to apply, broadening the pool of potential candidates.The academic session is set to commence in August 2026, and interested candidates can apply through the official IIT Jodhpur admission portal. The application process involves completing an online form, uploading necessary documents, and paying an application fee of INR 999. Following this, candidates must take the IIT Jodhpur qualifier test and participate in a counseling process if shortlisted.Upon selection, candidates will receive a provisional admission offer and must pay the first-year program fee within ten days to secure their place.
