INI CET July 2026 Open Round Seat Distribution: AIIMS Revokes Candidacy of 41 Candidates, See Announcement

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced the cancellation of the INI CET July 2026 open round seat allocation for 41 students. This decision comes after these candidates failed to provide the necessary payment or transaction details required for reconciliation. The official notice from AIIMS outlines the implications of this cancellation, emphasizing that these students will no longer be considered for seat allocation in the ongoing counselling process.

According to the notice, provisionally eligible candidates were given a specific opportunity to submit their payment or transaction details to facilitate the reconciliation process. However, AIIMS reported that no responses were received from the 41 affected candidates. Consequently, the institute has firmly stated that it will not entertain any further claims from these individuals regarding their candidature for the open round counselling.

The cancellation of these candidates' applications highlights the importance of adhering to the guidelines set forth by AIIMS during the admission process. The institute has made it clear that the candidates listed in Annexure 1 of the notice are definitively excluded from the seat allocation for the INI CET July 2026 open round. This move underscores AIIMS's commitment to maintaining a fair and transparent admission process.

Looking ahead, AIIMS is set to conduct the INI CET January 2027 Session Entrance Exam on November 1, 2026. This examination will be administered as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at designated exam centres. While there is no prescribed dress code for the exam, candidates are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and masks to ensure their safety on the examination day.
