IPE Hyderabad Opens 2027-29 PGDM Admissions with Merit Scholarships up to INR 6 Lakh

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, has officially commenced the admission process for its two-year, full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs for the 2027-29 academic batch. Alongside the opening of the application window, the institute has introduced an expanded scholarship framework aimed at supporting meritorious students and ensuring financial accessibility for high-achieving applicants.

The newly announced scholarship initiative offers financial support ranging from INR 80,000 up to INR 6 lakh, applicable to the total course fee of INR 9 lakh. According to the institute, these awards are designed to recognize excellence across various domains, including performance in national-level entrance examinations, academic achievements, sports, and the arts.

Scholarship Criteria and Admission Requirements

The scholarship program is structured to reward a diverse range of student profiles. For instance, the IPE Merit and Means Scholarship provides 27 awards of INR 6 lakh each, specifically for students who secure at least the 80th percentile in the CAT 2026 or XAT 2027 exams and belong to families with an annual income below INR 8 lakh. Other entrance-test-based scholarships are available for candidates presenting valid scores from CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, or ATMA, with varying award amounts based on the specific test and percentile achieved.

Beyond entrance exam performance, the institute has allocated funds for special categories. This includes scholarships for female students, as well as awards for individuals who have represented India or their respective states in sports and arts competitions. Furthermore, the institute continues to support ongoing academic excellence by awarding scholarships of up to INR 50,000 to the top three students in each section throughout the duration of the program.

Prof. S. Sreenivasa Murthy, Director of IPE, emphasized the institution's commitment to balancing academic rigor with professional relevance. He noted that the institute awards over INR 2.5 crore in scholarships annually to approximately 240 students.
