JMI CDOE 2026 Admissions: Deadline for Registration for Distance Learning Programs Extended; Introduction of 11 New Courses

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced an extension for the last date of distance admission for the academic year 2026, now set for September 8, 2026. This extension allows eligible candidates who missed the initial deadline to complete their registration online at the university's admission portal, admission.jmi.ac.in. Previously, the registration was scheduled to close on August 10, but the revised timeline provides additional opportunities for prospective students.

In conjunction with the extended registration period, JMI has also introduced 11 new distance learning courses aimed at meeting the evolving demands of the job market. These new offerings include a variety of certificate, diploma, and advanced diploma programs, expanding the university's curriculum from 49 to 60 courses. The newly launched subjects focus on essential language skills and modern career requirements, featuring modules in languages such as French, Spanish, Chinese, Persian, Arabic, and Russian, as well as creative fields like Photography, Video Editing, Anchoring, and Broadcast Presentation.

Additionally, the university has rescheduled the entrance exams for its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. The new exam date is set for September 19, 2026, with the screening rounds to be conducted on the university's main campus. This physical examination format aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of candidates' abilities in these competitive programs.

Admit cards for the B.Ed and MBA entrance exams will be made available shortly on the university's admission website, ensuring that candidates have the necessary information to prepare for their assessments.
