The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to conduct the JEE Main 2027 examination for the first session. As students across the country gear up for the application process, those residing in Karnataka can now review the expected list of examination cities available within the state. While the final list will be officially confirmed in the upcoming information bulletin, candidates are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the potential locations to assist in their planning.
The examination is scheduled to take place on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30, 2027. When the application window officially opens on the NTA website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, applicants will be required to select up to four preferred test cities. These selections should be based on the candidate's current or permanent residential address to ensure a smooth testing experience.
Based on previous years' notifications, the list of cities in Karnataka likely to host the JEE Main 2027 exam includes Ballari, Belagavi (Belgaum), Bengaluru, Davangere, Gulbarga/Kalaburgi, Hassan, Dharwad, Mangaluru (Mangalore), Mysuru (Mysore), Shivamoga (Shimoga), and Tumakuru. Additionally, the list is expected to feature Chikmagalur, Hubli, Udupi/Manipal, Bidar, and Chikaballapur.
It is important to note that this list is tentative. The National Testing Agency will provide the definitive list of examination centres within the official information bulletin for the 2027 cycle. Furthermore, the NTA will issue an advance city intimation slip to all registered candidates closer to the exam dates, which will specify the exact city allotted to each student.
The official registration dates for JEE Main 2027 are expected to be announced by the NTA in the near future. Prospective candidates are advised to monitor the official portal regularly and ensure that all necessary personal and academic documentation is prepared well in advance of the application deadline.
By selecting their preferred cities during the online application process, students can help the NTA in the logistical planning of the examination. As the registration period approaches, candidates should remain updated through official channels to ensure they receive timely information regarding the final test centre allocations and any changes to the examination schedule.
