The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially announced the JENPAS UG Counselling 2026 notification, which is crucial for candidates seeking admission to B.Sc Nursing and various undergraduate paramedical courses under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). This centralized online counselling process will take place in three rounds, with the allocation of seats based on merit rank, candidate choices, and availability of seats. Interested candidates can access and download the counselling notification from the official WBJEEB website.

Eligibility for participation in the JENPAS UG counselling is limited to those who have appeared for the JENPAS UG 2026 examination and have secured a valid General Merit Rank (GMR) or BHA Merit Rank (BMR). The counselling process is set to commence for the academic session 2026-27, and candidates must adhere to the specified timelines for registration and choice filling to ensure their participation.

The counselling schedule outlines several key dates. Registration, payment of the registration fee, and choice filling for Round 1 will occur from August 6 to August 10, 2026. Candidates will have until August 10 to modify and lock their choices, with the Round 1 seat allotment results being announced on August 12. Following this, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission from August 12 to August 16.

Subsequent rounds of counselling will follow a similar structure. Round 2 registration and choice filling will take place from August 17 to August 19, with results announced on August 21. The final round, Round 3, will begin with registration on August 24, culminating in seat allotment results on August 27. Candidates are advised to stay updated on the withdrawal schedule, which will be announced separately.

To qualify for B.Sc Nursing admission, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria based on their Class 12 performance. General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates must achieve a minimum of 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category candidates need at least 40%. A non-refundable registration fee of INR 500 is required to participate in the counselling process, and candidates who miss the registration deadline will not be considered for admission.
