Jharkhand Academic Council Announces Tentative Start Date for 2027 Board Exams

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially shared the tentative schedule for the upcoming 2027 board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students. According to the announcement, the examinations for both Matric and Intermediate levels are slated to begin on February 5, 2027. The council expects to conclude the entire examination process by the final week of February 2027.

In addition to the board exams for secondary and senior secondary students, the council has indicated that the annual examinations for students in Classes 8, 9, and 11 are also scheduled to take place during the last week of February 2027. While the start date has been confirmed as a tentative timeline, students are currently awaiting the release of the comprehensive, subject-wise date sheet.

Examination Schedule and Shift Details

The Jharkhand Academic Council plans to conduct the board examinations in two distinct shifts to manage the volume of students effectively. The Class 10 (Matric) examinations are scheduled for the morning shift, running from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM. Meanwhile, the Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations will be held in the afternoon shift, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Authorities have advised students to ensure they arrive at their designated examination centers well in advance of the reporting times that will be specified on their final admit cards. While these timings are currently provided as part of the tentative schedule, the official timetable will serve as the final authority for all exam-related logistics and subject-specific dates.

Upcoming Date Sheet Release

Students and parents should look for the detailed subject-wise timetable to be published by the Jharkhand Academic Council in the coming months. Based on current projections and previous years' administrative patterns, the council is expected to release the official JAC 10th and 12th date sheet for 2027 by the last week of November 2026. Once released, the document will be made available in PDF format on the official JAC website.

This upcoming publication will provide the definitive roadmap for the examination season, including specific dates for each subject and essential instructions for candidates. Students are encouraged to monitor the official council portal regularly for the final notification and the subsequent release of the examination schedule.
