Is the KEA PGCET Scorecard for 2026 Available Today? Official Announcement on PGCET Results Expected

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has yet to announce the results for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2026, leaving candidates in anticipation. The PGCET MBA exam was conducted on June 14, and it has been over 53 days since the examination took place. Candidates have been eagerly awaiting updates, but KEA has not provided any official information regarding the results, despite numerous inquiries via phone and email from concerned test takers.

In previous years, the timeline for releasing PGCET results has varied significantly. For instance, in 2021, results were declared 35 days after the exam, while in 2022, it took 39 days, and in 2025, the results were released after 47 days. This year, the delay has surpassed the 59-day mark set in 2023, which was the longest interval recorded between the exam and the announcement of results. Candidates are hopeful that KEA will release the results soon, possibly within the next few days.

While there is no official announcement on the KEA website, it is anticipated that the results could be made public today or tomorrow. If the PGCET scorecards are released promptly, the academic session for postgraduate admissions could commence around October or November. Colleges that accept Karnataka PGCET scores typically keep seats vacant until the KEA MBA admission process is finalized.

Several factors may be contributing to the delay in the PGCET results. One significant reason could be the postponement of the sixth-semester results from universities participating in the PGCET process. KEA relies on undergraduate exam results to assign ranks in cases where candidates achieve identical scores in the PGCET exam. Additionally, the verification process for SAT (Standardized Admission Test) scores, which involves data from a government website, may also be causing delays.

Moreover, the heavy workload on KEA due to multiple ongoing admission processes, including UGCET, UGNEET, and DCET, could be further complicating the situation. As candidates await the PGCET results, they remain hopeful for a timely announcement that will allow them to proceed with their academic plans.
