The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell is set to conclude the college option form filling process for the 5-Year LLB Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 3 today, September 5, 2026. Candidates participating in this phase of the counselling process are required to finalise their college and course preferences through the official website at llb5cap26.mahacet.org before the window closes.

To participate in this round, applicants must log in to the portal using their registered email ID and password. Once logged in, candidates can prioritise their preferred law colleges and courses. The CET Cell will use these submitted choices to determine seat allocations for the upcoming round. It is advised that students select as many options as possible to improve their prospects of securing a seat in their preferred institution.

Important Dates and Upcoming Schedule

Following the conclusion of the option filling process today, the admission timeline will proceed to the merit list stage. The Maharashtra State CET Cell has scheduled the release of the alphabetical merit list for Round 3 on September 8, 2026. This will be followed by the final seat allotment results, which are slated for publication on September 18, 2026.

In addition to the 5-Year LLB schedule, the authorities have also confirmed dates for the 3-Year LLB programme, with the final merit list for that course expected on September 16, 2026. Candidates are reminded that once the current option filling window closes, they will no longer have the opportunity to modify or update their college preferences. It is essential for all applicants to ensure their choices are submitted accurately and within the stipulated timeframe to remain eligible for the seat allotment process.
