The state-level counselling process is a critical step for NEET-qualified candidates seeking admission to undergraduate medical courses. Key Dates and Counselling Schedule for Round 2

The registration window for the second round of counselling is set to open on September 5, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their applications promptly, as the deadline for registration is September 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Following the registration phase, the authorities will publish the list of available vacancies on September 7, 2026, providing candidates with the necessary information to make informed decisions during the subsequent choice-filling process.

Candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections against the published vacancy list on September 7, 2026. Once the vacancies are finalised, the window for choice filling and locking will open, running from September 7 through September 9, 2026, with the deadline set for 11:59 PM on the final day. It is essential for candidates to lock their preferences within this timeframe to be considered for the seat allotment process.

The results for the second round of seat allotment are scheduled to be announced on September 11, 2026. Following the declaration of results, successful candidates will be required to report to their allotted colleges to complete the admission formalities. The reporting period for these candidates is set between September 12 and September 18, 2026. Only those who have successfully completed the online registration process will be eligible to participate in this round of counselling.
