A full-time Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) in Communication Design is available at the National Institute of Design, Haryana (NID Kurukshetra), a prestigious design school under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India. The four-year undergraduate curriculum is designed to develop creative professionals in the quickly changing domains of branding, digital media, and visual communication. The National Institute of Design Admission Cell administers the Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT), which is the sole basis for admission to the program.

About the Program

The demanding B.Des. in Communication Design program at NID Kurukshetra aims to enhance students' skills in human-centered design, visual storytelling, and conceptual thinking. Typography, photography, digital illustration, branding, animation, and interactive media are just a few of the disciplines that are integrated throughout the course.
A shared Foundation Program that exposes students to fundamental design concepts and critical creative abilities is part of the first year. Beginning in the second year, students can specialize in communication design, with an emphasis on both theoretical and studio-based learning approaches. To improve their practical knowledge and professional preparedness, students are encouraged to participate in industrial projects, internships, and group projects.
